Every day is the same
with house after house going up in flame
more frequently people are dying
just because they were lying
lying to protect their family
lying to stay healthy
So many more problems out there
of which we should take care
we kind of are but still narcissistic
and imagine something unrealistic
are we even running around open-eyed?
‘cause solving those problems? No, we’ve never tried
inequality, poverty
no one dares tackling this properly
we believe everything is fine
and let it run down our spine
we move it to the back of our minds
but solving this problem? No, we’ve never tried
wars, conflicts
soldiers promise to be home at six
they are fighting for their lives
they are fighting to survive
yet so many of them have died
but solving this problem? No, we’ve never tried
security, safety
is something we can never foresee
feeling safe, not everyone feels this way
this is not a beautiful price to pay
there will always be a bad guy
solving this problem? Yes, we can try
those are only a few problems of our time
their rate however can still climb
this is something we often forget
because for us, they’re not a big threat
other people have to suffer though
for them life’s not a rainbow
Look at society’s outcome
Look what society has become
we can still prove the world wrong
and change our attitude before long
it would be amazing if everyone took part
so we could consider it a restart
