Staneva Elissaveta - Brain or heart?

Cyborgs are here

whenever we need them.

Always by our side.

Someone is sick? They'll treat them.

Someone is feeling nostalgic? They'll teleport them home.

Someone misses a person they love? They'll give them the opportunity to meet again.

Someone is bored? They'll entertain them.

"They" are machines.

But how do they hook us into happiness?

They help us live, yet they destroy our lives.

We are blinded by false illusions

in which we control them.

An addiction, so strong

that hides the slavery

regulated by technology.

Fake skins replace the sickness

with a new heart.

It pumps that blood of ours

filling it with oxygen of desire.

Infinite desire to have powers;

infinite desire to create a fire.

The core of the Earth explodes

within seconds...

As that bomb of

unthinkable strategies

is launched by e-waste.

Where did you machines, exile?

Are you again invading someone else's aisle?

Rivalry is us, isn't we? No worries.

Soon, it'll be over as you observe

how we disappear in front of

your very metal eyeballs.

Jobs - gone,

misery, poverty and slums - come

until it's absolutely dark:

Where no light shines through,

Where depression captures our souls,

And where nature is neglected;

completely forgotten.

Ciao Earth!

I'm sorry we didn't care about you enough.

I'm sorry money is all we think about.

I'm sorry it's over.

Hello senseless perfection.

We're too late to realize nothing is ideal.

We're too late to ignore the small flaws.

Because now everything is trash.

No humanity, no nature, no nothing.

Except e-garbage.

Planet, thank you though

for having us. It was splendid!

But that's what you deserve

for your Kindness and Love -

watch your children die,

committing another try

of an indescribable

Staneva Elissaveta - The courage to heal

She had to let go
of the fear to be herself,
of her insecurities.
She was supposed to love her flaws
that make her so chaotically perfect…

But she couldn’t forget their words,
their pressuring actions
their judgments.
Looks full of hate,
staring at her vulnerability,
laughing at her pain
As they became stronger
by watching her suffer.
She couldn’t forget their betrayal, lies
and the way they abandoned her -
like she was nothing.
They enjoyed breaking the Trust she questioned: this thin glass.
Lift It up, just to plunk It once more
When all she wanted was to pick up the pieces;
stick them back together and never put
her guard down
She had to be strong
Wake every morning,
relive the same dolour,
over and over again
the nostalgia,
the distance with her soulmate,
while she was surrounded
by fake hypocritical skins
she must have had not given a damn about their opinion
But o, man...did she…

All it took was courage,
to stop her mind, her feelings and thoughts
End the overthinking -
the weapon which was killing her.
She stood up and fought. Like a hero.
She escaped back at home,
ignored the negativity,
And adored the small sweet moments
She reminded herself for what she possesed:
the most important things -
her family and friends
who loved her just for who she was.
So she succeeded
and did the hardest.
She had the courage to not give up.
She had the courage to heal.
